Ionic showing additional steps in the morning

Hi, from last 3 days ionic is showing additional steps in the morning. Like today when I woke up it is showing 4400 steps with 0 miles.. I was not wearing it in the night and it was kept on the table. I am using the latest software update. Please help.

I would see if a Restart fixes things.  Try it several times if necessary.
