Ionic showing too many steps

My average steps is usually 15-25at most. But since I’ve started using the ionic I’ve noticed my average step count is about 30,000!!!

Today I have finally figured out why!!! Every time i see the time on the ionic, the step count jumps 5-10steps!!!!

Wow thats a lot! Try restarting the Ionic. Also check that you have the dominant/non dominant hand right in Settings. Whuch arm do you wear ut on?

Already done all that. Been sat on the bus reading the paper for 5mins my step count has gone up by 12!!! I wear it on my left hand. My dominant hand is right.

I’ve been getting 5000 steps on my lazy days off just laying in bed!!!!
