Hi all , ive worn a for several years now and am 100% convinced it is accurate however ive picked up a cheap second hand ionic as i liked the look of it but today testing them both side by side the ionic is reading way more steps than the other device. Its 12:20 now and ive had them both on the exact same amount of time and the ionic is 1k steps ahead.
I notice that just moving my arm around drives up the counter on the Fitbit but the other device this never happens. Ive changed settings to have the correct hand type etc i looked at stride but it didnt seem it was wrong.
What can i do to correct this , accuracy to me is paramount so without this i cannot use this device.

Hi @Bazrazmataz, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Let me share with you that we do not recommend our users to compare the information tracked by Fitbit devices and other tracking devices because they may use different algorithms to track data. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to learn more about how accuracy are Fitbit devices on our help article: How accurate are Fitbit devices? and let me know if you have any additional questions.
I'll be around.
