Why does not all steps at ionic count in the challenges? Something weird compared to previous watches, or is it just me???

They should do @Tommytoennessen. Sounds like a possible sync issue. Try syncing your Ionic again or possibly restarting it (left and bottom right buttons pressed together for ~10 secs until screen blanks and then logo appears).

@Tommytoennessen Can you say where and how exactly the numbers are not matching up?

Monday and tuesday i had 20000 steps, Both days, today still after Glock registrered 5500, i only have 35231 steps in total. The challenge is also in my own timezone.

I've experienced this before with my Charge HR; say I took 2500 steps and synchronized. The steps then got added to the scoreboard of the challenge, but after that the server did a correction on the steps, putting me back somewhere between 250 and 750 steps. So, the leadboard always showed more steps than my device.

However, it seems there is less post correcting of steps with my Ionic; where I previously got around 3000 steps during a 15K bike ride with the Charge HR, I now only get around 250-500 for the same distance, on the same route. To me, this seems to indicate that the Ionic is more accurate and needs less correcting (after all, biking isn't walking or running so shouldn't count towards the step goal).

BTW: If you partake in challenges from a different timezone, there's always a difference in steps as your days don't align with those of the challenge.

What phone / software are you using and did you sync the days steps on each day? Not that I’ve a clue why it didn’t work but just trying to narrow down possibilities. Like I earlier, it sounds like a sync issue.

Ah good to hear @Jorix that you know of this issue. I’ve not experienced it so was shooting blind.

I am having the same issue.  Upgraded to a Ionic from a Surge, never had the problem before.  Missing thousands of steps.
