My ionic stopped syncing completely then wouldn’t factory reset at all, took my watch into the shop where I bought it from today, to which they fully replaced it.
emailed Fitbit regarding the issue and they were very happy to help regarding the issue which is nice to see

I have done everything you mentioned but it keep on saying that the syncing has been scheduled. I even unpaired it. I am also having problems with updating the firmware. I love fitbit but I am not stressed out.

Now if you mean that you removed the Ionic from the Fitbit App, all you did was remove the Ionic from your Fitbit bit account, this does not fix a sync issue but will add problems. We will need to still fix the issue that caused the no sync.
May I ask what type of phone do you have? I only know about Android.
Yes if you haven't done so, please remove the Ionic from the phone Bluetooth.and restart the phone and ionic after checking for a Fitbit app update.
