Ionic stopped tracking sleep

Even though I've bought an Apple Watch 4 for my daytime use, I still found the Ionic better for sleep data.  However, since July 7, my Ionic has stopped recording my sleep time and I don't know why.  It fits snugly on my wrist, haven't changed any settings.  Please help.

Welcome to the Community @Pancho08. I appreciate the details mentioned.

Thanks for checking that no settings have changed. I would like you to try the following troubleshooting:

- Manually sync your watch

- Restart it

- Try sleeping with your Ionic on your non-dominant hand

Can you let me know if it's not tracking your sleep stages or only sleep data?

Let me know how it goes.

My Fitbit Ionic occasionally stops recording sleep. Usually I can get it back in working order by following suggestions from the community forum-update app, turn bluetooth off and on, restart Fitbit, restart iPhone, etc. None of these are now working and I was wondering if there are other things to try.

So the pattern I see with my sleep not recording is that is happens about every other month and only lasts for a day or two. For example, the Ionic did not track Tuesday and Wednesday, but was working again Thursday. I don’t think that I fixed it by any of the things I tried. It seems to be random. The suggested things to try did not work, unless it takes time (a day or more) for everything to reset. The only thing that I can think of is we have had power outages that throw my Bluetooth devices offline, including the Fitbit. But I always check that first, to be sure the device is connected. It’s a mystery to me but at least it is working now.
