My Ionic stops tracking my steps several times a day. I have to keep checking it and restarting it. Very annoying!!!!

It would be! Try a factory reset (settings app onbthe Ionic and scroll down to About) and see if that fixes it. If it doesnt you will need to contact Support (link in my signature)
