My fitbit has been in use for just a few months. It stopped charging and I tried a factory restart as advised here. It fixed the charging problem but stopped working....it is stuck in the welcome screen and after working for maybe one hour with customer service and trying different ways to fix the problem they decided the device is defective. Unfortunately they will not replace it! They suggested that I buy a new one.
Maybe someone has a solution before I trash a new 175-dollar fitbit?
