Hi @Yellowlighting, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? Are you able to see any condensation inside? Perhaps some water droplets that could confirm that your device was damaged by water? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Ricardo, I am having the same problem after swimming. My sensors are none responsive and i do see what could be condensation inside. I have already did a factor reset as I was talking to customer service today.

@Yellowlighting @Zwilk the reason is that the Ionic is not water-resistant. Browse through these forums and you'll see that many many many people's devices of all ages die as soon as they touch water. Sadly Fitbit does not honor the warranty with a replacement and if your device is not within warranty then they will only provide you with a small discount on certain devices (not Ionics).

@unagisan yeah i just received an email with a discount but cant even buy the same watch. I've had this watch on in water many of times over the last 3 years and it just now gave out.

Whatever possessed you to think that a Fitbit device can be treated as if it were a SCUBA diving device?
The WR50 certification is misleading - but we can't blame Fitbit for that.
At best a WR50 certified device can be used for surface swimming only. If you have been reading these threads you would have been aware of issues with the waterproof ability of the Ionic.
I won't even shower with mine.

I had a Citizen Sports 100 (WR100 waterproof certification) Dove with it for ~20 dives in the tropics. Came back to Tasmania. First dive in temperate water and it flooded.
Only dive with a diving certified watch! WR200+.
The Ionic is far from a Diving instrument. Swimming is a risk.
