I have been a loyal fitbit user since 2014. I have been upgrading fitbits and my last one is the Ionic.
I have been loving the features it has and used most of them except the swimming since i don't really do this.
Well the once time I have tried to use it while on vacation it was the end of it.
I tried to reach for support and since my warranty has expired there's nothing I can do but get a new one.
All I wanted was to get it fixed since it's supposed to be waterproof, why would you advertise something that clearly it's not capable of doing. After mine died I checked on the forums and it has a lot of broken ionics after swimming, my problem is that I didn't check so now it's my fault.
I'm hurt as a costumer since I never had any issues before so I trusted the quality of the watch and now that's my fault.
I really liked fitbit as a brand but hearbroken with the help I'm getting so it seems like it's time to check other brands that actually work.
I wasn't looking for a new fitbit, I was really reaching for some help or fixing mine since I take really good care of it.
Dissapointed costumer.

I'm really sorry. But there is no repair service on any of the devices.

@MarcoGFitbit hello there, i read a lot about the issues of swimming with fitbit ionic . And if lot of customers are complaining about the same thing. Then dont you think that its a product manufacturing issue from the day one we purchased it. Dont you think fitbit as company is answerable to all of the customers if thats the issue. Just think about you.
PS : is ionic really waterproof till 50m?
