I am about to leave the Fitbit community entirely. I really enjoyed my blaze so when the ionic came out I got one. Spent over $250 because it was still new. In less than a year it stopped being able to sync. After troubleshooting it was determined to be defective and was replaced. Then the replacement stopped syncing after only 7 months. When I contacted Fitbit all they were willing to do was give me a discount. 😡 I don’t want a discount, I want a watch that works.

This is clearly a manufacturing defect they don’t want to admit to. The original title of this post was “the ionic needs a recall” and they changed it. I truely believe there is a manufacturing defect like maybe the Bluetooth module burns out. The worst part is it can’t even keep time without a connection making it %100 useless.

Your company makes an inferior product and won’t support it. I’ve bought 3 Fitbit devices and had 1 go out twice and one go out once. You need to figure out why your product is failing and make it up the the customers who you treated like **ahem** because it’s past “warranty” I paid over 250 for your flagship wearable and it and the replacement went out before they were even a year old. I’ve taking over 15 million steps since I joined Fitbit and I’m fed up with your **ahem**ty solution. I want my watch replaced or fixed or I will not only never buy a Fitbit again but I will make sure to spread the word that Fitbit intentionally makes sub par devices and fails to support them.

How true. I have had the same treatment from Fitbit when my 2nd ionic died a couple of days ago and all they were willing to offer was a 25% discount on a new one. We should not have to pay over $300 for a watch that barely works for one year. The ionic is NOT worth that kind of money when it only lasts for one year. I am also done with Fitbit.

It’s official. Fitbit’s customer service is just as crappy as their product. I hope it bites you in the rear and you fail as a company.
