Ionic stopped working

Hi,

my device screen is unresponsive. Battery drains in hours. It’s not counting steps. All recommended troubleshooting fails. The device is 17 months old and not damaged. Any other ideas?

fitbit support is offering me 25% off a new device in their store, which is less than what I could buy one brand new from amazon. So it’s a useless offer.

Before I go elsewhere, any other tips in the community?

Oh - I’m done with Fitbit - forever. Your support team already told me they won’t send me a refurb or invest time in helping fix this 17 month old product. Ridiculous.

I am in agreement with you and the short lifespan of units!  I won a Charge 3 on February of 2019 and just got off of a live chat with a rep reporting 2 issues:  a very dim display that cannot be read outside in the daylight and a battery that drains after 2 days.  We walked through 10 minutes of troubleshooting and when my unit would not respond properly to troubleshooting, I was offered 25% discount on a new unit.  Why would I buy another knowing that the lifespan is likely the same?  The rep even said these are faults of the unit that are being worked on by your support team?!  So I only get 25% discount while your team hears my issues and "works out the bugs".  This warranty is bad and you will lose customers if you do not treat concerns that are true concerns fairly!

This is like my 4th Fitbit that just stopped working after a time.  I feel like they are programmed to stop working or something.

I bought a competitive product (Apple Watch - it’s great), deleted my Fitbit app, and unsubscribe from all marketing communications.

Problem solved.
