Ionic stuck in an endless loop trying to install an app

I just got my Ionic a few days ago. While trying to install an app (Water Logged), it failed. Instead of simply giving up, now the app on my phone is constantly trying to install the app even though I'm telling it not to. Here's what I'm seeing:

  1. When I back out of the apps screen and click into it again, I see this:
  2. Then I click "Not right now", which takes me to this:
  3. Then I click "OK", but the installer bar is still bouncing around:

When I back out of the apps screen again, or restart the FitBit app, this starts all over again. I can't get it to cancel the installation. Is there anything I can do to stop this, other than reinstalling everything (which I really don't want to have to do). I have tried force stopping the android app, clearing the cache and data and logging in again. Also restarted the Ionic several times.

Id uninstall the app from your phone then reinstall it and log back in and see if that stops it. If it doesnt try a factory reset of the Ionic (settings app on the Ionic and scroll down to About if you can do it that way, or using the buttons if you cant (see below). Hooefully one of those two will solve it. Let us know how you go

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Any solution found for this? Mine is trapped in the loop. Factory resets don't do anything because once I add the watch to my account the install loop starts over...
