Ionic stuck on 0% and won't charge

My ionic was working great and then the battery died the other day. I plugged it in to charge and came back a few hours later and it still says 0% when you press a button. It has now been on charge for 3 days and still says 0%. I have tried wall chargers and running it off the laptop USB but still nothing! I can't reset or do anything as there is no battery life! Help!

Was on a long hike and Fitbit went blank and would not recharge.  Remains blank despite using 2 different charging cords and wall sockets.

Hello, mine is doing exactly the same as everyone else.

After fiddling about with the connector, the red 0% battery comes up and then vanishes. I have put it on charge for 6hrs and still nothing. I used two different charging cables. I have tried to start back up with all the buttons, still nothing.this ionic is a replacement from fitbit because my first had issues  too. I really don't want have to keep sending them back. I have had to order a back up watch. Regards wayne

The only thing I can suggest is you contact Fitbit support and see what
they can do to help you sort it out

This charging issue is a known problem Fitbits have had for years and the
company does nothing to fix the problem (my Ionic never showed text
messages either). I wasted $200 on an Ionic and it completely died after
18 months. Back to using my 25 year old Citizen Navihawk Eco watch
(charged by light). I use the Samsung Health App on my phone to track my
exercise.

I had this same problem.  Came here to try different things.  Nothing was working.  I finally called support and the first thing he had me do was use rubbing alcohol and a Qtip to clean the contact points on the back of the phone and the plug too.  Voila!  As soon as I plugged it in again it started charging!  I had wasted weeks of failed attempts doing all sorts of other things and that did it!  So, my suggestion is, start with a good cleaning with rubbing alcohol first.  🙂
