My ionic was working great and then the battery died the other day. I plugged it in to charge and came back a few hours later and it still says 0% when you press a button. It has now been on charge for 3 days and still says 0%. I have tried wall chargers and running it off the laptop USB but still nothing! I can't reset or do anything as there is no battery life! Help!

Good luck then, never let it run out of battery, it's a great watch when it works, but far too unreliable.

Yes! When they work they are great.
Work great, look great.

But stops working all the time abs worldwide there were problems . That’s
why they have been discontinued. -annoying as they were pricey.

Hi there,

I have read these threads and have managed to do the factory reset, however my fitbit ionic has no battery life. Not charging.

I have contacted customer support and they have just told me that they not going to do anything about it. I'm really upset since I've spent the money on this premium tracker and can't use it.

Please help.

Do you need a new charging cable. And did you tell them you had purchased
the Fitbit premium

That's scary. there are other platforms I guess to advise consumers regarding the problems with the device. Let's just hope that they take responsibility and the latter does not escalate.

Buy some other brand. I gave up on Fitbit based on customer service

It's not that simple, not everyone can afford to buy new trackers every year.

Aloha - Just keep trying. last year mine took a couple of days, of
hours of efforts, and then it started charging.

use all of the tricks and tips people have given you.

BTW i near the end found a small piece of metal magnetized to the prong
on the back. i used a small Q-tip to move it around and tweezers to get
it out.

best of luck

Wow will do

Search the archived threads. Details about button sequence have been discussed hundreds of times recently and previously.

Even numerous times in the 32 pages of this thread.

Lo and behold!

You'd think that for over $200 you'd get a watch good for more than 18
months

This is known DEFECT with Fitbits. If it's out of warranty you're out of
luck. Tried every suggestion with mine...new charging cable, charging
docking station, cleaning contacts, etc... Ended up throwing it away and
bought a Magellan
