My ionic was working great and then the battery died the other day. I plugged it in to charge and came back a few hours later and it still says 0% when you press a button. It has now been on charge for 3 days and still says 0%. I have tried wall chargers and running it off the laptop USB but still nothing! I can't reset or do anything as there is no battery life! Help!

Same thing! Had mine just over a week and it will not charge! 0%
None of the suggestions work as it will not allow me to access any screen ( I guess because it thinks it has no power ) even though the thing does come on while plugged in.
This is BS!

Thanks, but I have already tried every suggestion here including that one. Nothing but 0%
Tried several chargers and every button press combo. I was able to get into the menus once but the display would only stay on for a fraction of a second at a time, not long enough to navigate to the factory reset.

All I get when I try this is a diamond pattern of blue circles flashing off and on about once every 10 seconds

Jeeper53,
Mine was just two months old when this happened. I’ll be honest with you contacting Fitbit customer care is a disappointment. They will have you do the same troubleshooting steps over and over and won’t listen to you when you tell them you’ve already done them. Then they will request you send them a recorded video and handwritten note to prove your having an issue. I personally didn’t have the patience to deal with this type of customer care...so I will tell you what worked for me.
Assuming you have tried all the reset steps and made sure your charger is good...you should let your Fitbit sit for a few days (I left mine for three)...unplugged and untouched. Let the device complete discharge and then plug it into charger after the three days. Mine lit up right away after the third day and no issue since. Hope that helps.

Give them a ring. It’s an 0800 number.

@Greg.Salyer.13 I hope you're doing well! Have customer support contacted you already? If so, what solutions have they offered to you?
@Maldives20-14 @SunsetRunner Thanks for sharing the workarounds and experience that helped you out to get back on track. I'm sure other users will find that useful.
@Jeeper53 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing. Thanks for cleaning the charging contacts.
Before you contact customer support, have you tried restarting your Ionic? This has helped other users in the past, you should give it a try! Also, try a different charging port.
@Ger33 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for also reporting this situation. Also, thanks for trying different chargers.
Please check these other tips that will help you out if the battery is not charging. Also, try a restart on your Ionic. That should help you out.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Was have the same problem that my watch wouldn’t charge. I finally looked where the watch connects to the plug. There were a couple small grains of sand that were keeping the charger from making proper contact.? Cleaned it out with a pin and now it’s charging. It’s worth checking.

@Dpnccar Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing the experience you have had with your watch not charging. Thanks for sharing the workaround that helped you out to resolve this.
That is usually the cause of Fitbit devices not charging. The contacts may be dirty preventing the connection between the device and charging cable to be proper. Cleaning it should do the trick. I'm glad that worked for you, I'm sure other users will find this helpful.
@Jeeper53 Thanks for your reply! I'm glad to read that yours is going again and that you are back on track. Let me know if you need any more help.
Keep me posted!

Ionic is stuck on zero charge. Restarted plenty of times over 3 days to no avail-still will only show 0%. Ionic clearly has some charge as it contines to read 0% and has not been plugged in. The setting menu or any other screen will not come up only "0%". This is already my 2nd ionic as the first screwed up also and seller could not fix. Starting to think it is a dud product.
