I have been really disappointed in the quality of this watch! I constantly have to manually sync it, and only get notifications on it, every blue moon! I really should have sent it back for a refund, but I kept hoping it would get updated, and miraculously work! I can't believe I paid this much for a glorified steps tracker!

What phone are you using? Is it on the Supported Devices List?

I just got one this week and Im having sync issues also and Im on a Windows 10 phone with a Snapdragon 820, 4GB Ram and 64GB Storage and Windows 10 1709. Iam getting tired of resetting the device and the app. Why allow the app for the phone to be installed if the device isn't supported (as Fitbit Support tells me)? I think the app is whats causing the syncing issues not the watch, as its turning off Bluetooth during the sync. I sure hope they can get an update out before my 45 days is up or its going back.

Yes, it's supported. I've had conversations with tech support, but I'm just tired of needing to contact them! It worked fine at first, and the longer I've had it, the less features are working, even after numerous updates. I doubt I'll buy another Fitbit smart watch, this is my second version, and the first one didn't last a year before the battery died.

I agree. Like it took all morning to get the Weather app working again 😞 Just wouldn't sync up and then erase the settings. Very frustrating, I also think the factory reset isn't working on mine, it retains my Pandora credentials as well as the previous clock face, and doesn't restore uninstalled apps.

I'm having the same issues since the last 2 updates. It worked fine when I first got it, now its crapping out on me. Whatever they added or fixed is messing up the systen.

@Ebojager
I'm having all the same issues as you..same device as you too..fitbit support thinks the support list is god..lol all those phones on the list for the most part have been out of production for the longest while.. They went as far as to tell me that weather isn't supported on my windows device...when all I had to do was reboot...but it still does lose sync...when I last called them and asked them why was my water stats were resetting 30mins early prior to the start of the new day..they said water sync is not supported for my Windows Phone 10 device...lol ..so it syncs but if stops syncing only the water 30mins early and the app thinks it's the next day 30minutes early too... They really got to work on the Windows app ALOT...
Question for you ..if you go into the clock faces area and click all clocks and then click on the magnifying glass to search for a clock face by name does your app crash?
Thanks!
Sanjay

I wasn't thinking of it being related, but yes, I did need to start over, if I searched for a clock face by name. They really should have just issued a recall on the Ionic - it's had more issues than any other!

They do need to work on it. It's almost ok just a few very annoying issues with the store and apps part mostly for me. ya the apps are able to install on unsupported devices is pretty bad. Can't even get their own apps to work, like the leaderboard and the news apps, unless I need friends in order for it to work??? They're making in extra frustrating by allowing us to install apps that don't work on our phones. I do appreciate them atleast trying to support Windows Mobile, I have to give them an extra thumbs up for that.
Regarding the all clocks search, once I start typing in the field it crashes.
