Ionic update results in watch always on???

I tried searching but could not find an answer with all the other complaints/problems people seem to be having with this update. After this update, the screen defaults back to the clock instead of just showing me steps. I do not want to have to press the screen to see steps. I don't see anywhere in the app to change it to default to show steps. I don't need to know what time it is.

any help? thanks 🙂

so it seems there is no fix for this. to see steps or heart rate you have to touch the screen. this is TERRIBLE!!! doesn't anyone at Fitbit understand not everyone has a free hand to touch a screen?

Thanks for turning my Ionic into an overpriced watch!
