Ionic usual bright green light has faint

Hi,

 

My Ionic all of a sudden does not record heart rate. I've tried shutting it down and turning it on, doing factory reset, turn heart rate features off and on still does not work. Noticed that the green light at the back is faint as opposed to the usual bright green light. When I select an activaty it's able to measure heart rate. But when on standby or when sleeping HR meter is just blank. Help... thanks.

I appreciate the details mentioned. I would like you to double check this article which explains some of the factors that can affect your heart-rate reading on your Fitbit Ionic.
