Today I was going to sync the Ionic, box it and return for an exchange, because the vibrator never once worked since purchased last week.
BUT noticed there was an update available so figured why not try it.
FYI, if the update seems to never connect, try rebooting your phone...that finally worked for me.
So...after updating, tried the alarm and WOW...strong vibration as good as my Charge2. Tried the Timer and yep...strong vibration there, to. Tried the Relax program and for the 1st time have the vibration markers it talked about in the manual.
Hope this update fixed the vibration problem for others, too! 😀😁

Well, it WAS working, but now there is once again no vibration for anything...again. Sigh...wish you folks would fix this.

Try restarting the Ionic while it is on the charger.
This works for me.

Did that...didn't work.
Finally went through everything with Fitbit chat and they just replaced the defective Ionic with one that works.
