Ionic wasn't tracking steps and BPM and now stuck on the Fitbit icon

My fitbit ionic is stuck on the icon after chatting with support.....now it won't do anything!!  I wasn't having steps or bpm being recorded, my watch face was keeping time and calories were changing.  She had me press left button and lower right and now I am stuck.
