I wear my Ionic when I go walking. I’m in my seventies, so no rough handling. I’ve had it for two and a half years. Today the watch face fell out and the watch no longer works. I know the guarantee is for one year only, but I don’t think an expensive watch which has never been abused should fall to pieces so quickly. The watch is clearly unfit for purpose. I see on various forums that it is a common problem with Fitbit watches. I’ve enjoyed watching my statistics over the last two years, but I don’t think I’ll be buying another Fitbit. It looks like an Apple Watch coming up.
