Ionic watch unlock with phone

I'm having trouble with my ionic watch. The screen shows a phone and lock symbol and says "Unlock with Your Phone". How do I unlock? Please help!

if you want to ask a question about a setting on the phone. Please give us an idea of the phone you have. We will also need to know what OS version the phone is running. 

This will be found under the security settings on the phone, for android it is called smart lock.

Hi Rich, thank you for replying. I have an Android. I did go to my security settings and authorized both my Ionic and Alta HR but still have the phone and lock icon showing.

Not knowing which version of android, ill say that I was able to setup smart lock for my charge on android 4. 

When an android is first rebooted the smart lock feature will not work. 

Otherwise with ith my phone running android 8. when I turn the phone display on, if my ionic is nearby I simply hold my finger on the home button or swipe the screen. The phone unlocks. yes the unlock dots are still there or I can use my iris or finger print to unlock.

Hey there @Hazmat818! It's great to hear you were able to solve the message you were getting. I just wanted to share that usually when this type of issue happens is because the pin has been entered incorrectly 10 times and it indicates that you need to unlock using your phone, if you ever have this message again just perform these steps: 

1. In the Fitbit app, tap Device Lock settings or the Wallet Tile. 
2. The app prompts the customer to remove payments data. NOTE: This does not remove all the data on Ionic, just the payment data: 
3. Add the cards to the Wallet app. Once the data is removed, the customer can set up Fitbit Pay again.
