Ionic watch will not sync swim "exercise" I just did.

I swam today for first time with Ionic (my 1st fitbit).  I chose to select swim "exercise" and hit start.  I hit stop after swim and saw cool stats.   I came home and synced with Android app phone and everything but exercise synced.  App doesn't even show I exercised at all.  No "active" minutes, no heart rate data..nothing for swim.  It does show that I had 45 minutes of active time on my watch.  Just not phone.  Any ideas would help.  I got this watch for this heart tracking and it is getting returned quick if this doesn't work.

Fitbit doesn't support heart rate tracking while in swim mode. You can "fool" it by not tracking swimming, but since Fitbit didn't believe HRM was good enough for swim tracking, why would you do that?

None of the data, not even distance showed up, heart rate or not.  It should have synced the distance, laps etc.  Right?

Ionic tracks basic indoor swim stuff:

- laps

- time

and then estimates:

- distance (laps * pool length)

- pace per 100 yards

- calories

If it synced, the swim activity will show up on app or web dashboard. There is no way to review previous activities on Ionic, you need to be in the app or web dashboard.

Try syncing again.
