Ionic went dead and won't charge

Long time user of Fitbit.  Ionic went blank and won't charge after only reporting 23% battery a short time earlier.  Won't charge after proper care.   Seems like several others has same issue about the same time/day as me.

MY ionic stopped working 12 hours ago after battery drained and its doesn't seem to be charging. I tried switching it on and it wouldn't.  Please help

Did anybody do a update on their phone yesterday?  I recently got a new phone and had issues syncing and after I finally got it to work a update came across my watch and I accepted it.  Since then I couldn't charge my watch.  Wondering if the update affected it not being able to charge.

My issue is resolved. I called the help desk.

I finally called the support number and after going through several steps they had me press the left silver button on the watch along with the lower right button on the watch at the same time for 10 seconds till it powered back on.  I was able to charge my Fitbit. All is well now.
