Hello,
I have bought my Ionic in late January. I haven't taken it off my hand ever since. I have been using it in the shower, in the sink doing the dishes, and to the beach. However on Saturday I was at the beach. When I went in for a swim, my watch was at no instance in more than a meter depth. When I got off I realized my watch was dead. I tried communicating with the support on Saturday, however I haven't received a reply ever since. I am frustrated and sad and have no idea what to do. Any suggestions? How long more should I wait to communicate the support again? Is there anything else I could/should do? I have been using this watch as a motivator to walk more and have a healthier life.

Have you tried restarting your Ionic several times And then fully charge it? If not give that a go. If that doesnt help do a factory reset using the buttons (see below) and if that doesnt fix it then I d contact Support again (link in my signature)
FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up. Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

@NellyG Thanks for your reply ! I tried restarting and hard reset as you proposed. No sign of the watch being alive. How should I contact support again? I tried once and did not get a reply.

I bought my Ionic in late December and it recently went dead as well. I did not get it wet until one day I had to wash something in the sink and it got wet. It never recovered and I had to return it to Fitbit. What is really frustrating is I went through three Surges with watch band problems. With my third Surge they offered to replace it with a new Surge or I could purchase the Ionic for half price. Now I am having problems with the Ionic. I like the design and the features of the Ionic, but my hope that the quality of than the Ionic would be better than the Surge is not panning out. When they finally replace my Ionic (that's another story for another time) I'm pretty sure it will be my last Fitbit.

Unfortunately, my ionic did the same yesterday, tried resetting, restarting and recharging it, but it just wouldn't turn on... I contacted customer support, they sent me a link about battery recharging, tried it and didn't work too... Judt replied and hoping they will find the right solution... When you get ueed to wearing your smart watch daily for more than 4 months, you kind of get lost without it...
