So I have read this problem over and over again on these posts and I just consider myself lucky. Well that ended. I have now had my ionic for just over one year and it appears to be dead. I know it had a full charge due to charging it during the night before it died. I completed my workout and stopped the “workout”mode and read all the stats. Nothing out of the ordinary and it was a typical CrossFit workout and no water was involved. I couple hours after this workout, I look at my wrist to check time and nothing. I tried to wake it by pushing left button, but again nothing. So onto this board I went. I’ve tried the two button combo and the three. Then a different power source to confirm it was getting power and nothing. Tried the computer USB plug in to get the lower rate for a charge, nothing. This has been going on for a little over a week and I’m super disappointed. Do I just throw it out and go with a competitor or is there still hope. HELP getting this fixed. It was awesome being able to track all my workouts and helped keeping me moving forward. Great watch when it was working.

Hey sickPif,
My wife's ionic died the same way earlier this week just 9 days after the warranty expired. I called their warranty 800 number and requested a replacement since it was so close to the expiration date, they decided to replace it and she just received it today. But, it won't connect, they say the app is malfunctioning and their working on it. In any event, if your warranty expired shortly after, you might try giving them a call. Good luck

Yep def call Tech Support right away. They generally have a “zero tolerance” policy for defective devices. Makes sense that they would “extend” the warranty period to keep a customer using the brand. But probs depends on the situation and timing. Plus who picks up the call. Number is linked below for you.

I did contact customer support and after about a 30 minute phone call, they are replacing it. Actually very simple process. They just went through all the possible fixes and do to no response of the ionic they approved the replacement process. Really hope this one will last much longer than a year.

Yep perfect -> this is what everyone should do. Much faster than messing about here. All major problems get pushed there anyways. No sense wasting time playing tag back and forth waiting for responses online. Just get a replacement direct. Immediately.
There seems to be “zero tolerance” for any defective device. So no need to keep one that is defective causing a bunch of frustration. Excellent.
