Ionic won't charge after 2 months of no use

Ive had my fitbit ionic for approx 9 months, I haven't charged it up for the last 2 months. I have popped it on to charge and nothing... although I can feel the charge. Anyone experienced this? I have the box but I cant find my receipt (Argos).
