Sounds like I'm preaching to the choir, but putting this out there. I bought my Iconic in Dec 2017 (have seen a number of posters who bought around the same time). I tried all the trouble shooting tips and nothing worked. Contacting customer support, but I am outside of the 12 month warranty, so all they can offer is 25% off. Quite a bummer, as I would expect something that is $250 to last more than 18 months. But more importantly, what do I do with the thing?!? The support tells me they don't fix or refurbish Fitbits, but am I really just supposed to throw it in the trash?!? Surely they have some sort of recycling program for the components? Are all these dead Fitbits just getting thrown in landfills? Any ideas?

A warm welcome to the Community @JWheeler11. Thanks for the detailed information shared and the troubleshooting tried.
I appreciate that you mentioned you already contacted our Support team and they offered you a discount. Our Support team reviews each case individually and the option provided is based in the Fitbit Warranty.
As our Support team mentioned, we don't have a refurbished program or somewhere you could return your watch. In this case, we advise to recycle your Ionic in any recycling programs for electronics. If you would like that Fitbit could implement a recycling program, you can post your idea in our Feature Suggestion board, those are reviewed by our team and the status is based in Fitbit's plans.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
