Ionic won’t charge

My ionic went dead during the night, put it on the charger and nothing! I’m seeing this is becoming VERY common. Fitbit please make this right, too many people reporting this problem to just “clean the port with a toothpick or tooth brush”

It happened to me this morning.   It last synched at 9:14 PM last night, and today, it's dead.  They also offered me the 25% off deal.  They do not care about fixing the problem.  Not acceptable for a $250 watch.  After 7 years and 5 dead devices, I'm done with these clowns.  I'd advise everyone else to do the same.

No, they offered me 25% off a new Fitbit. Said it was out of warranty.

I am pretty much like you. Had all kinds of Fitbit since they started. The
surge, ionic, all kind of charges, the flex, even Fitbit Ace 2 for my son .

The ionic has completely stopped charging out of the blue. The number if
cases I am seeing, this product had a default in fabrication and should be
simply fully refunded and returned.

Anyway, I am on Apple Watch now series 5 and all good there. The customer
service of apple is out of this world.

I have had an Ionic, Charge 2 HR, Charge, 2 Flexes, 2 Ace 2's, an Inspire and Aria 2.  The first 5 devices on this list all died just outside the warranty period.  Support was abysmal to nonexistent.  It's clear the intent is to design and manufacture product with only a 12-15 month life span, and to run this 25% off scan to keep people on board, especially since you have invested yourself into a community of users and matched friends.  If Fitbit does not replace my clearly defective watch, I'm heading for the exist and advising the 50+ people on my friends list to do the same when their next Fitbit dies (virtually everyone has had at least one device die on them).  END THE SCAM.  Go to Apple or Garmin, companies that actually know how to develop, design, and support products.
