Ionic won't connect to phone

Hello, my Ionic won't connect to my phone. I already tried everything in Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi? article. When I activate Blueooth on my phone, the Ionic appears in the list, and it will try to pair but it fails. I have a Galaxy S21, and I had this issue with my previous phone - a Galaxy S9. I'm not sure what else to do. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ionic. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

 

I would like to mention that connecting your Ionic to Wi-Fi is recommended to update the firmware version, download clock faces and music. 

 

If you are having difficulties to use any of those features, please try to set up your Watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1638325540131.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

If you are having difficulties to sync the stats recorded by your Ionic to your Fitbit account, please follow these troubleshooting steps.
