After the battery was fully exhausted recently, the watch buzzed for more than a minute after I plugged in the recharger. Then silence and nothing on the screen. When I tried to restart the watch later I got a 0% battery message. Sounds like a kaput watch to me, but I'd rather not have to send it back. Is there a fix I missed in the manual?

I literally just had the same thing happen to me today. I held all three buttons on the side of the watch for like ten seconds and the fitbit symbol came up and it restarted fine and started charging..... try it maybe it will work?!

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it din't work for me. Did you get the long vibration when you first noticed the watch not charging?

I had the same situation and pushing the 3 buttons made the Ionic restart. Thanks!

I wasn't able to power it up neither after it was connected to charger for around 2h. After that I connected to the laptop and I kept it there for some minutes. There, I was able to power it up, but showed only 4% battery level. I reconnected to a phone charger and after 5 minutes battery level was 100%. Now seems to work fine, but is clear there is an issue with the charging state. Maybe will help to charge it using a low current supply (like USB) from a laptop.

Hi, I had several problems with a Charge 3 so I bought the Ionic one, but I think Fitbit has some problems with the software development!
