Ionic won't recognize my AfterShokz bluetooth earphones

My new AfterShokz headphones are charged and on.  I have made sure that the bluetooth is not connected to my iPhone (I have not problem getting my iPhone to connect).  I go to settings on my Ionic and hit new device and my watch will NOT pick up the AfterShokz.  Any suggestions?

Have you updated firmware recently? I have the same issue on my ionic not detecting Sennsheiser Bluetooth headset, after firmware update.

No, I have not updated the firmware.  I just got the Ionic and the Aftershokz at Christmas.

Yes, I just kept doing the upload and it finally worked.
But now my fitbit tells me I have something wrong with my Pandora account
so it won't play the music.
More trouble than they are worth!

They pair with my phone with no problems.  The ionic recognises the aftershocks but won’t pair.... strange.  I think I’ll just play music from my phone.  Thanks for replying I appreciate it 😃.

Not sure if this has been addressed already but what I did to connect aftershokz to any other device is to long press on the volume + for 5-7 secs, then you'll hear "Pairing"... you'll see in your ionic the same. Let me know how it goes.
