I have tried just about everything to get my watch to stay connected to my phone. The app syncs just fine but it won’t keep connected for notifications. I have reset my watch. The only way it will connect is to forget the device from Bluetooth and then reconnect it. Then it will only stay paired for a short time and loses connection again. Any better ideas?

It appears to me that your phone is not on the Fitbit list of Approved Devices but check for yourself.

It won't matter if the phone is on the list of approved devices. My phone is on the list and it does the same thing as yours. Take the watch back immediately and get a Garmin or something else if you want it to do more than tell time.

I can’t return it it’s about a year old. It worked fine with my X but when I got a new phone it started acting up
