Ionic won't sync or pair with my iPhone 10

As of today 1/10 around 9:30 am my Fitbit stopped syncing with my iPhone 10.  I tried to restart my fitbit numerous times and nothing improved.  The only thing that happened was that I lost all of my data for the day.  I tried to forget it in my bluetooth setting for my phone and pair it again and now it isn't even showing up in the list.  I tried to remove the app and download it again and that didn't work.  I logged out and back in and now I can't even set up my device.  I get the error message (com.fitbit.HTTP error 400.).  I tried to sync it with my laptop and it can't even find my fitbit.  The app started to slow down over the past couple of days and show problems ever since I did the update.  I have tried everything listed on the help forums and nothing seems to work.  I have only had this ionic for a year and now it is doesn't seem to work.

My Ionic is less than a year, and sporadically have had trouble syncing.  Today the software could not find my watch.  It said to plug it into the charger, which I did.   The software still could not find my Ionic.   Now, I cannot get the Ionic to sleep.   I disconnected the charger and am going to bed, but needless to say, it is very frustrating!!

A warm welcome to the Community @Bob5000 and @jrwanek! I appreciate the troubleshooting that you've tried as well for the details that you've mentioned.

I was looking more information on the forums and I've found that these steps have helped others who were having the same issue:

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Make sure you have a strong WiFi signal
  4. Log back into your account and try to set up your tracker once again:
    • Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
    • Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
    • Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue

If your Ionic is still not syncing to your account, please try these steps Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
