Ionic won't turn off after a swim

I went for a swim, and my fit bit ionic began vibrating and turned off fully.

i initially thought it was a dead battery however it is not turning on after a significant amount of time being on charge.

I have tried the factory reset with the 3 buttons and nothing works.

There is no response on the screen nor is the heart rate tracker flashing.

Was my fitbit damaged from the water? I thought it was water resistant?

Is there something i can do to fix it?

Yep!

Do a thread search on this issue. Hopefully your Fitbit is still under warranty?

If so, contact support immediately. If you get a replacement, don't swim (or shower) with it.

No Warranty? Still contact support and have a cordial discussion with them.

Goodluck!.
