Ionic won't turn on or charge

Like the title says, my ionics screen is black. Like the battery is dead but it won't charge either. I plug it in and I get no response. I've cleaned the connections, I've held down the buttons in case I managed to turn it off while I was asleep but I'm getting nothing from it. It was at more than 50% battery when I went to bed and I woke up with it like it is. 

 

Any advice would be helpful.
