I was doing a longer swim yesterday and my Ionic quit right in the middle of my intervals.
I was doing 12x100 yrds with short rests and really wanted my times. Anyway the Ionic seems to have totally failed. I may have been low on charge but I don't think so.
Any ideas. Right now it won't even turn on. Fortunately, I have an extended warrant but this leads me to question the robustness of this smart watch.

Hey @marmot84, let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit forums! I'm sorry to hear about the weird behavior of your Fitbit Ionic. If it won't turn on, I suggest you to try to restart it by following these instructions:
If it responds after that, please fully charge it.
f the issue persists, let me know and I will continue assisting you. 🙂

Yes - mine appears to be totally dead. I made the reply about how to turn
it back on OK because I knew there there was nothing more that the forum
could do for mine.
Fortunately, mine is still under BestBuy's extended insurance so I'm just
going to replace it with a Garmin Fenix series ... more expensive but they
seem to be higher end and more in line with what I'm looking for as a "more
than everyday fitness" athlete.
Hope you can resolve yours!

So that is basically the deal with mine too. I guess - if you have one and want to keep it then don't swim with it!
I'm under extended insurance from Best Buy so I'm just going to replace mine with a Garmin Fenix ... more money but more inline with my needs a more serious athlete.
