Ionic won't turn on

My fitbit iconic stopped working. It will not turn on despite charging. This was a gift and I really love it. I want it to work. I've read the threads and it appears this is not uncommon. I really hope Customer Service has a solution.

@Kisten, did this happen after the upgrade to the new firmware version?  If so, have you tried pressing & holding the left button and the bottom right button until the Fitbit logo appears? Did that work?

Thanks for sharing that your Ionic won't turn on despite being charged. I understand how important your Ionic is for you and I'll be here to help you out with this situation. Although you've seen this behavior being reported in our forums, please give a try to the following troubleshooting which has worked for some of our members:

  1. Clean the gold contacts on your Ionic and charging cable.
  2. Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable.
  3. Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  4. Restart your Ionic to refresh its behavior as suggested by our friend @USAF-Larry.
