So I bought a Ionic from a friend and after setting it up it keeps trying to update, but fails. I have tried all of the recommendations - restarting my phone and watch, resynching the watch to my phone's bluetooth, trying it from my dashboard on the website. What gives? Did I buy a lemon? Can this be fixed?

In order to avoid any confusion on my end, let me know if you restarted your device as described in this help article. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.
Finally, run the update again and see if the issue gets fixed.

Yes, I did that. Now I can't even install a watch face. It keeps flashing Unable to Install Install failed please try again later over and over.
