my ionic died this morning, i plugged it in and nothing happens no battery indicator, etc. i took it into work and plugged into my laptop, then the wall charger, then the car charger, nothing still. i tried performing a soft reset (left and bottom right bottom for 20s) no luck, tried performing a hard reset (all 3 buttons 20-30s) no response. for awhile every once in a while the logo would flash for a split second, i haven't noticed that happening the last couple hours. i chatted with fitbit "support" and explained this and that i thought it was a software/firmware related issue and got the usual disappointing line about getting a 35% off discount on another fitbit (why would i continue to buy products that dont work?).
so here's the deal prior to giving up on Fitbit and going to a apple watch, does anyone have any other things i can try to fix this thing? im honestly amazed that fitbit still hasn't come up with a fix for these ionic's being their flagship watch.

As silly as this seems, it worked for me- clean the charging contacts on the back of the watch. Use a small knife or flathead screwdriver and gently scrape. I then put the charging cable back on, and it started charging again.

Mine was working fine until 11 PM last night when it just went to blinking the Fitbit logo. I've tried all the restart directions but it doesn't do anything.
