Ionic wont come off charging screen

After charging my ionic it will not go back to the home screen. It stays on the battery charging and displays the percentage. Ive tried reseting it but it wont recognize me holding down the button. When trying to sync it to do an update if fails everytime via bluetooth and wifi. The charging screen stays on and coach app pops up underneath, after another attempt the music app pops up under/behind the battery charging display. The last attempt my display had tons on white lines running across.

I would first suggest trying to give it another restart, it's advised to do this a few times. Instructions can be found here.

 

If that still doesn't solve your issue, I think the only option you really have left is to perform a factory reset. Ensure you remove your device from your account first and unpair it from your phones Bluetooth settings.
