Hello,
I stopped using my Ionic for about 5 months due to an injury. Recently I charged it up, but found that it would not sync. I realised that it was not connecting to the Wi Fi. I have followed all of the trouble shooting steps, but it will not pick up any wi fi networks. I usually connect to my IPad, but wont work. I disconnected and tried using my laptop, but that does not work either.
When I turned it on, it seemed to sync briefly as the date and time was corrected. However, it is not keeping the time, falling back slowly. Under settings, it shows Wi Fi as being off.
The batter life also seems to have reduced considerably. It previously lasted at least 4 days, now find that is flat within 24 - 36 hrs. And this is without playing music, using GPS or any other app.
The firmware is probably out of date, but if cannot connect it to the wifi, how do I update?
Any guidance will be appreciated.
Thank you

Your ionic does not sync through WiFi. Dieting this 5 months of no use, did you turn the tracker off and kept it's battery charged? A dead lithium battery will start destroying itself and quickly become useless.
If your having issues transferring music, then yes, WiFi could be a problem, but during a sync the tracker only Bluetooth is used.
WiFi will only be turned on while the Fitbit is being charged. While the tracker is on the wrist, WiFi can not be turned on.

Hi, I do not know how to turn tracker off. When I stopped using the watch I simply left the battery to run down and had it kept like that in my drawer. When I wanted to use it again, I charged it up again and tried to connect it to my app on my IPad. This is when I started experiencing problems.
On one of the help advises, it mentions to try disconnecting blue tooth on device (IPad) which I did. My IPad however will now not pick up the Ionic to be be able to pair again.
When I open the app, it states that is looking for tracker... and goes no further.
I have tried all above without the watch being on my wrist. I have tried only with it on charge. Do I maybe need to have on my wrist for tracker to activate?
