Ionic wont connect to car

I no longer recieve my text messages via my cars bluetooth, anybody figure out how to pair the ionic to car radio??

Hi @savannah1113.

 

Your Ionic needs to connect to your phone in order to receive notifications. You may find the following help article useful in setting up notifications.

 

The same would apply to your car stereo, if you wish to receive notifications on there you would need to pair your phone to the stereo. It's your phone the handles and sends the notifications, the Ionic and car stereo just mirror the phone.

You should be able to connect the cars radio to the ionic and continue to receive messages on the wrist from the phone.

The phone connects to the car. Text messages come through phone and ionic, but will not come through in the car
