Ionic wont hold charge

Have restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled, factory reset and manually shut down but my ionic wont hold a charge. Battery sometimes states that it is 0% and remains that way continuously or sometimes that it is full but as soon as I take it off charge goes dead and unresponsive. Fully working when attached to a charger. Have tried wall chargers, USB to a computer but no difference. Helllllp! Thinking Garmin is my future as no end of problems with my ionic. (Sad face)
