Ionic wont sync, it looks like the app finds the watch as the watch displays the 4 diget

Ionic wont sync, it looks like the app finds the watch as the watch displays the 4 diget, but when i enter that  number nothing happends. Does anyone else

It sounds as if you are trying to setup the Ionic, which needs to be done before the tracker will sync @Aberjack 

Since the app on the phone is having issues, may I ask what type of phone do you have?

Are you setting up the ionic for the first time?

Have you checked for a Fitbit update? Restarted bit the phone and the ionic?

It removed the app, restarted the phone, installed the Fitbit app?

I am trying to set up the ionic but not fir the 1st time, i bought it from someone who had done a factory reset. 

I have done the  deleat the app and thing still no joy.
