Ionic wont sync to samsung s7

Is it possible to sync the ionic to a samsung galaxy s7. Some people are saying yes. I will be gutted if not just bought the ionic. Thanks in advance

@Nicola01, have you checked the Fitbit Compatible Devices list for the Samsung Galaxy S7?  It appears to be there.

If you read the thread ionic impressions after two weeks (here), GeneDoc explains he had issues with Galaxy S7. Unfortunately, the way s/w has been delivered is, if it works it works. If not find a work around. When everything else fails, consumer decides what is next.
