I want to bed yesterday and put my ionic on charge and this morning it is off, completely dead. My app says it synced 7am and had 100% battery which implies the watch was on at that time but now it wont turn on. Tried all the resets on my own and with the customer service then at the end they told me we can offer you a 40% discount to buy a new one since I was out of warranty. I dont want to buy a new one if it is going to break as soon as the warranty is over. Almost makes me think if that is a sale tactic to force us to buy new watches. It is such a shame especially that I have been a great advocate for the brand and recommended it to several friends. I even bought 2 other watches and gifted them to my mom and girlfriend. Now I feel it was all a waste of money and they totally lost my trust and respect.

Hi @Khalilmm, you're right, something really is funky with your watch. I know you said you tried resetting it, and I assume you tried a soft reset. Have you done a hard/factory reset on the watch? Just hold down all three buttons on the watch for about 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears and you see fitbit.com/setup.
Where did you buy the Ionic from? Is it possible that you could exchange it?

I tried both resets. It is not just my watch, a lot of people have the same issue.
I bought the watch from fitbit and my warranty expired so I can't exchange it. They told me I can buy a new but I dont think that's a solution to my problem.

I had a similar experience with my Ionic. It is 2 years old and I wear it daily. During my run it stopped keeping track of my distance and steps. I got home and plugged it in and checked it on the app. It said it had 4 percent battery and then it went dead. I checked it several times during the day and it never changed. I tried a new charger with no luck. When you pay more than $200 for a watch you expect it to last longer than 2 years. I am very disappointed and have decided to buy an apple watch.

I had the same problem....just a couple weeks after purchase...screen went blank...I had to do a 'three button'' hard restart...watch seems to be working now...hopefully it won't fail again in days to come

Same happened to me, fitbit will not replace or repair. I would expect a Smartwatch to last longer than 2 years. Will not be buying a Fitbit again. Feeling Ripped off.
looking at other smart watches
