Ionic wristband torn

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

purchased Iconic 2 years ago. Came with two bands. These have lasted approx 12 month each. To replace the price is around $50 AUD. The watch only cost $250.  This seems a blatant rip off. If  I need to buy a new band each year.

Anyone else had this problem

I bought on 28 Dec of 2018 and it's like 1 and a half year now. And my IONIC bands came off from both sides.

Since the last couple of days, I noticed it was unraveled like this (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ionic/Ionic-belt-began-unravel/td-p/3273549). And I couldn't use the Small size bands as that's too small for me.

And since today morning I can't use it anymore. Both sides got torn and fallen apart.

@michaelje and @TahmidMunaz,

Checked eBay for non-genuine bands? I can't vouch for the Ionic. But I've purchased a N-G band for a Versa. Good as the OEM for a fraction of the cost.

I got a three pack on amazon for $10, and they have been every bit as good as the originals in the three months I have had them.  I think the large size is maybe a fraction shorter than the original fitbit ones, but that doesn't affect me at all. Would buy again, but no need for now.
