Ionic wristband won’t close

I just got an ionic fit bit. On the second day, the little metal piece at the end of the wristband fell out. I put it back in the only way that seems possible, but cannot clasp my watch close without considerable force. How can I fix this?

Yes, the logo is on the outside, but I just figured out the problem. The
metal piece wasn't flush and therefore couldn't grab another hole. To fix
this, I took the band off and stretched it around the metal piece. Now that
it's flush, it pops into the holes with ease.

Cheers!

Hi @JennyInNJ - You posted this in the Charge 2 forum. I will move this thread to the Ionic board. Good luck!

@JennyInNJ assuming the metal bit is in the right way, ie Fitbit logo on the outside, small bit on the inside (I don't think it will go in the wrong way) it's just a case of lining up the nub with a hole. It can seem a bit of a push if not perfectly lined up but it does get easier with wear.
